Prepare for your course
Our courses have been designed to enable you to complete a major portion of study on your own before coming to participate in classes at our campus in Mayapur. This approach allows you to spend less time away from your preaching field and optimize your learning while in Mayapur. The Preliminary Self-study guides include study questions, selected analogies, verses for memorization and quotes from Srila Prabhupada’s lectures. You can begin preparing for the course by doing the reading assignments, learning slokas and answering the homework questions. Getting an early start on your studies will enable you to get the most out of the course.
Preliminary Self study guides are available only to registered students of the Bhakti-sastri and Bhaktivaibhava Courses. Once you have completed registration for your course, we will notify you of the location to download your preparatory material.

Requirements for taking a course
Most Gaura Purnima Courses are open to all, without any pre-requisites. The sastric and VTE designed courses, however, are for devotees who have been seriously practicing Krishna consciousness for at least a year and have basic sastric knowledge and understanding. These students must follow the 4 regulative principles, chant 16 rounds, and attend the daily morning program. Before a prospective student comes to Mayapur for these courses, an ISKCON authority must submit a recommendation indicating confidence in the student’s qualification to participate in this course. Individual course requirements are listed in the requirements section. Read more about the requirements for each course
