A Reference

We require a reference from your Temple President or other local authority. Once you have submitted your registration, we will send them our standard reference questionnaire by email. Please contact your authority separately, and let them know to expect this email. They should complete it and send by return email as soon as possible. Please note that you will not be able to begin your course unless we have received this reference.

The feature of this course are as follows:

  1. Explore the Krishna Conscious principles and value underpinning devotee care
  2. Analyse research data, including reasons behind any inadequate provision of care
  3. Formulate collaboratively ideas and standards for good practise
  4. Practise listening skills, as applied in meetings and other group/ managerial contexts
  5. Write a strategic plan for applying caring principles in our own contexts/ communities
  6. Present a report to a hypothetical team to convince them of the value of DC in pushing forward both the global movement and their local project

Eligibility: This course is suitable to leaders, care givers and other devotees committed to instituting devotee care with in ISKCON and in their local, regional and national communities. This course is most helpful to those who attend in teams, offering opportunities for strategic planning.
