Puṇḍarīka Dhāma situated in Bangladesh is Śrī Puṇḍarīka Vidyānidhi’s birthplace. His samādhi is found in the area of a beautiful ISKCON temple, which has its own Rādhā-kuṇḍa and Śyāma-kuṇḍa as well as a Govardhana hill.
Recently, Māyāpur Institute conducted Bhakti-śāstrī Teachers Training Course for the resident brahmacāris in Puṇḍarīka Dhāma. Twenty-five Bangladeshi students successfully completed their BS TTC facilitated by our teacher Atul Kṛṣṇa das .

Bhakti-śāstrī Teachers Training Course is a comprehensive course which equips devotees with the knowledge, skills, and values to facilitate an ISKCON Board of Examiners approved Bhakti-śāstrī course by building on the learning of the VTE Teacher Training Courses 1 and 2 and on each student’s experience of systematic sastric study and practicing bhakti.

Students enter into an in-depth and transformational exploration of the internal development which Bhakti-śāstrī facilitators need to undergo in order to inspire their students’ spiritual growth most effectively. Śrīla Prabhupāda implemented the sastric degrees within ISKCON primarily to give full facility to his followers to make spiritual advancement and become strong and steady preachers. The course facilitation focuses on fulfilling Śrīla Prabhupāda vision by empowering participants to become strong preachers, entering the classroom with sufficient bhakti-śakti to make meaningful impact upon the hearts of their students.

Each participant writes a Bhakti-śāstrī lesson plan for the course assessment, and the course facilitator gives a detailed feedback as part of the grading process.
